The students are taught agricultural practices that protect the environment, expand the earth’s natural resources base, and maintain and improve the soil fertility. Lessons include Global Green Citizenship, introduction to Polyhouse and Greenhouse, familiarising them with Farming and Garden Tools, Concept of Soil and its role in farming, the concept of sowing seeds, introduction to the physiology of plants, practical classes on the planting of vegetable seedlings, harvesting, composting and concept of the 4Rs - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover.
